More orienteering fun awaits you this weekend. Take a short trip across the mountains to Teanaway Forks for an Ultra Long race and then to Jack Creek for a Middle race this Saturday and Sunday, June 12-13. Permits are in hand for a Winter League Series Championship race at Shorecrest High School-Hamlin Park-South Woods Park on Saturday, May 8th. Winter League #5 heads south to the Maple Valley area this Saturday, April 24. COC is excited to have our first official event at this new venue. Course designer and map creator John Brady has promised hard and challenging courses. You won’t want to miss the debut of Rock Creek/Summit Trails as an orienteering landscape for COC. Winter League is excited to announce a Winter League and WIOL Championship Race on May 8th in the general Puget Sound area, pending permits. Stay tuned and check the series page for more information as it becomes available. The Ultimate Orienteer Series has teamed up with Eastern Washington Orienteering Club to offer another weekend of events on June 5th and 6th in Spokane. Winter League #3 is this Saturday April 3rd at South Seattle College. Join us for a fun sprint style race at a venue COC hasn’t visited in a few years. Public registration will open at 7pm tonight (3/29) and close at 9pm on Wednesday (3/31). Rental e-punches will be available for this meet, but you must pre-pay online for them.
